came to universal studios on 2/6/2025 for my sons 10th birthday. we ate here at cletus chicken shack. we ordered and received our food very quickly, no more than a 5 minute wait. they have upstairs and downstairs seating. simpsons episodes playing on the walls ( love it! ). food was good. got the fried chicken plate. the mash potatoes, fried chicken, gravy and corn were all seasoned well and everything was so delicious!! we also ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich. this was a little sticky and the chicken proportion did not match up with the waffle provided. it was sort of sliding everywhere, other than that it was good. will be back next time we visit universal as we have the passes!!!
Theme park food what? Not bad, ordered menu items 1, 2, 3, 4 and my entire family devoured everything on their plate. If your military don't forget to ask for your military discount. Service - host employees: my wife left her phone in the restaurant and after calling and visiting the web site my wife was able to retrieve her wife the following week in the mail. Super honest service that day during our visit. Restaurant is packed with Simpson art and loved the short resturant clips from all the past seasons. Dining room area was clean and plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs.
I really enjoyed their fried chicken and I love their corn!! Best part is there are plenty of seating upstairs!! They have everything available for you from utensils to napkins to condiments. Depends where you sit, certain area is brighter...there are TV up playing the Simpson's. Price is a tad bit less expensive than Disneyland.
Decided to try this place out for the first time and I was not disappointed. I got their #2 Chicken Thumbs Platter. I really enjoyed their chicken tenders and fries were okay. The corn was good, but needed a bit more seasoning in my opinion. There was a bit of a long line, but it went by quickly. My food was also ready very fast. I love that I was able to fill up my water bottle with plenty of iced water too!
